At DART, we offer multiple options for employees to maintain their financial health and plan for the future.
After 180 days, full-time DART employees are automatically enrolled in this defined contribution retirement plan funded entirely by employer contributions. Under this plan, DART contributes 7.7% of each participant’s pay for that period to their account and invests it on their behalf. At retirement, the employee will receive the balance in their account, including contributions plus investment gains (or losses).
After 180 days, full-time DART employees are automatically enrolled in this defined contribution retirement plan, a 401(k) funded by employee contributions and a match from DART (up to 3%). Under this plan, employees can choose how much to contribute and direct their investments to some extent.
This optional deferred compensation plan is funded entirely by employee contributions (up to 100% of eligible compensation).
Employees hired at DART after September 30, 1995, are not eligible to participate in this traditional defined benefit pension plan. Summaries and valuations are included here for reporting purposes only.
