Rider Assistance Programs

If you are unable to take advantage of DART’s fixed bus route or rail service, you may be eligible for one of DART’s Rider Assistance Programs.

Online Portal and Scheduling Trips

Online Scheduling: Riders can schedule and pay for trips online. Click the link to access the online portal. 

DART Rider Assistance Programs mobile app: Riders are now able to both schedule and pay for trips by smartphone app. To download the app, search for “DART Rider Assistance Programs” in the Apple App Store® for iPhone or the Google Play® store for Android. 

Phone reservation line – 214-515-7272: To schedule a ride, call an hour ahead of the time that you wish to be picked up.

Riders needing a wheelchair-accessible vehicle must continue to call in their trip reservations.

DART Rides

DART Rides is a subsidized, on-demand transportation program for registered, qualified residents of certain cities and ZIP codes. Trips are fulfilled using a mix of vehicles, including accessible vehicles and ride-sharing services.

Areas served include:

  1. Carrollton – All ZIP codes
  2. Dallas – All ZIP codes
  3. Plano – All ZIP codes
  4. Rowlett – All ZIP codes
  5. Addison – 75001 ZIP code
  6. Farmers Branch – 75006 and 75234 ZIP codes
  7. Irving – 75038 and 75039 and 75060 and 75061 and 75062 ZIP codes

Collin County Transit is a rider assistance program for eligible riders that offers efficient transit options for participating McKinney Urban Transit District (MUTD) service-area cities. This service is for qualified residents of the MUTD service-area cities that are 65 or over, have a certified disability, or live in a low-income household. Enrollment is required.
