EEO & Cultural Engagement
DART’s EEO & Cultural Engagement Department is responsible for federal and local regulatory compliance in the areas of Title VI, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Title II (the Americans with Disabilities Act). The team manages all required federal and local program and report submissions, conducts ongoing monitoring and program implementation, fulfills external public engagement obligations, and coordinates internal training needs as required by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration.
In addition to meeting these regulatory requirements, the EEO & Cultural Engagement Department oversees the internal distribution and monitoring of DART’s Equal Employment Opportunity efforts. The department also advocates for the agency’s commitment to maintaining a working environment that recognizes and values the diverse social profile of DART’s service areas, customers, stakeholders, contractors, and employees, while striving for equitable representation and advancement of members of all protected groups at every level of the organization.
Cultural Engagement further supports this mission by driving initiatives that help establish and maintain a best-in-class culture—one in which employees, customers, partners, and communities believe in, feel connected to, and are truly enthusiastic about DART.
