EEO & Cultural Engagement
DART’s EEO & Cultural Engagement Department is responsible for federal and local regulatory compliance in the areas of Title VI, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Title II (the Americans with Disabilities Act). The team is responsible for meeting all federal and local program and report submissions, ongoing monitoring and implementation of programs, external public engagement requirements, and internal training needs, as required by regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration.
In addition to meeting the federal and local regulatory requirements, the EEO & Cultural Engagement Department is responsible for the internal distribution and monitoring of our own Equal Employment Opportunity efforts. Furthermore, the department advocates the agency's commitment to promoting a working environment that recognizes and values the diverse social profile of the DART service areas, customers, stakeholders, contractors, and employeesand strives for equitable representation and advancement of members of all protected groups at all levels of DART.
