The three organizations are working together during one of DART's busiest days of the year to encourage responsible travel by leaving the driving to professionals. St. Patrick's is one of the deadliest holidays on the road for drunk driving, with 276 drunk driving fatalities nationwide from 2009 to 2013. DART starts early DART service on the day of the parade, Saturday, March 14, starts early with trains every 10 minutes southbound from Parker Road Station and northbound from West End Station.
