 Media Contact: July 9, 1998 Lower price, more fun Saddle up for a ride on the Cowboys Flyer! DART is making it easier and more affordable than ever to see the Dallas Cowboys make their drive to the Super Bowl.Starting Friday, July 31, the Cowboys Flyer express bus service hits the road to Texas Stadium with a lower fare that should fit under everyone's salary cap. Park free at 10 convenient park & ride lots, and DART to the game for just $5. DART also has lowered the fare for children between the ages of five and 11; they can enjoy the ride for only $4. Fly free to the Corral Club The Cowboys Flyer ticket -- which fans buy on the bus -- also gives them a free pass to the popular Corral Club at Texas Stadium -- a $3 value. What's more, fans taking the first bus to the game, will be dropped off just steps away from the front door. This year, tickets can only be purchased at the park and ride lot as fans board the bus. Fares are cash only, and exact change is required. Buses begin leaving the lots about two-and-a-half hours prior to kickoff. The first bus takes passengers to Gate 8 at Texas Stadium, near the Corral Club. Buses leaving closer to kickoff will transport fans to the DART bus parking lot (the Gold lot). All fans returning on the Cowboys Flyer will board their bus in the Gold lot. Return buses depart Texas Stadium at the conclusion of the game with the last bus leaving Texas Stadium one hour after the end of the game. Wheelchair lift-equipped buses are available.
