August 2, 2002 DART customers urged to give their views
Proposed bus service changes presented in community meetings DART is holding a series of community and public meetings to gather input on proposed bus service changes scheduled for December 9, 2002.
The meetings will present bus routes changes to coordinate with DART's light rail expansion. The Blue Line extends to the new Forest/Jupiter and Downtown Garland stations on November 18 and the Red Line extends to the new Bush Turnpike, Downtown Plano and Parker Road stations on December 9. The system will more than double to 44 miles and 34 stations before the end of 2002.

DART is asking customers and other interested parties to give their views on the planned changes. August community meetings will be held as follows:
