Public meetings set for Dallas, Farmers Branch and Carrollton residents
Options Considered for Northwest Corridor Light Rail Line to Carrollton
DART has scheduled two community meetings in December to gain additional public input on the design of the future Northwest Corridor light rail transit line to Carrollton.
DART is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement with supporting Preliminary Engineering plans for the alignment and station areas. Meeting participants will discuss environmental impacts, preliminary engineering plans, station layouts, design options and other issues associated with the project.
The 17.5-mile Northwest line will run from downtown Dallas north along Harry Hines Boulevard and the former Union Pacific Railroad through Dallas and Farmers Branch to Frankford Road in Carrollton.
