DART Readies for Labor Day
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) has announced a modified schedule for the Labor Day holiday, Monday, September 1.
- DART bus and light rail services will follow a Sunday schedule.
- The Trinity Railway Express commuter rail will not operate.
- DART Paratransit services for customers with disabilities will operate on a Saturday schedule. The Paratransit Scheduling Center will be closed on Labor Day. Customers may call Thursday, August 28, to book their trips through Monday, September 1, and Friday, August 29, to book their trips through Wednesday, September 3. Customers may call Tuesday, September 2, to book trips through Thursday, September 4. X-Press Booking and holiday voice mail will also be available.
DART's administrative offices, Customer Care Center, and Lost and Found will be closed. Customers with questions about schedules may still contact DART's Customer Information Center at 214-979-1111 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cityplace/Uptown Inclinators, Mockingbird Elevator Down Time Scheduled:
Customers who depend on elevator service at Mockingbird Station or the inclinators at Cityplace/Uptown may need to adjust travel plans for the next few weeks, as the equipment will be down at various times for maintenance upgrades.
Beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday, August 29, until approximately 9 p.m. the next evening, the Mockingbird elevator will not be operable. Rail passengers unable to use the facility's escalators will have access to the station's upper level by getting off at Lovers Lane Station or White Rock Station and taking DART shuttle buses to Mockingbird. Those arriving at Mockingbird who wish to transfer to rail will be able to take the shuttle and board trains at either Lovers or White Rock.
At Cityplace/Uptown, the West Inclinator will be out of service from 9 a.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 2, through Friday, Sept. 5, while the East Inclinator will be running. From Saturday, Sept. 6, through Tuesday, Sept. 9, the reverse will take place. During this period, a shuttle bus will be in continuous operation between the building's east and west portals.
