DART Health Fair to energize older Americans
DART, along with the Dallas Area Agency on Aging and Eddie Deen's Ranch, invites all senior citizens to the 12th Annual Information and Health Fair on Thursday, May 11 in celebration of Older Americans Month. The event at Eddie Deen's Ranch in Downtown Dallas is scheduled for 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.
The free-of-charge fair provides free health screenings, light refreshments, giveaways and fun including dancing with live entertainment by Baron Bacon! Each year, more than 40 organizations come together to provide giveaways, drawings and information on a variety of topics including: transportation services, health issues, fire and personal safety, social services and pet adoption. Hundreds of senior citizens are expected to attend.
