DART to DFW Airport

Get to and from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport via the Orange Line, Silver Line, or the TRE.

The Orange Line serves DFW Airport Terminal A Station, near Gate A10.

The Silver Line serves DFW Airport Terminal B Station, near Gate B43.

 

Orange Line

Orange Line at DFW Airport Terminal A Station

Coming from DFW Airport

You can connect to DART Rail’s Orange Line at DFW Airport Terminal A Station via the walkway on the lower level near Entry A10.

  • All Orange Line trains serve downtown Dallas. You can transfer to other DART Rail lines in downtown at Pearl/Arts District, St. Paul, Akard, or West End stations.
  • The Orange Line connects to the cities of Irving and Dallas at all times, and also to Richardson and Plano during weekday peak hours.

 

Going to DFW Airport

From the DART Service Area, you should take the Orange Line with a destination sign of “DFW” and ride to the end of the line.

  • For American Airlines: Pass through security right at Entry A10. After going through security, you can get to other terminals by taking the Skylink people mover.
  • For other airlines: If you have a bag to check, you must take the free Terminal Link shuttle bus located on the lower level to get to your departure terminal. If you only have carry-on luggage, go through security at Terminal A, then go to your terminal using the Skylink people mover.

Silver Line at DFW Airport Terminal B Station

Coming from DFW Airport

Connect to DART’s Silver Line regional rail at DFW Airport Terminal B Station, via the walkway on the lower level near Entry B43.

  • Silver Line trains do not go to downtown Dallas.
  • You can go to Cypress Waters (Dallas), Carrollton, Addison, Richardson, and Plano.
  • Terminal B Station is also served by Trinity Metro’s TEXRail line to Fort Worth. Make sure you get on the DART-branded trains to get to the Dallas side of the region.

Going to DFW Airport

Take the Silver Line with a destination sign of “DFW Airport” and ride to the end of the line.

  • For American Airlines: Pass through security right at Entry B43. Once inside security, you can get to other terminals by taking the Skylink people mover.
  • For other airlines: If you have a bag to check, take the free Terminal Link shuttle bus located on the lower level to get to your departure terminal. If you only have carry-on luggage, go through security at Terminal B, then go to your terminal using the Skylink people mover.

NOTE: Accessing baggage claim carousels will take you out of the secure part of the terminal and will require you to use the Terminal Link shuttle to get to other terminals in the airport.

Silver Line Schedule

TRE LINK to the Trinity Railway Express

The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) is the commuter rail line connecting the downtowns of Dallas and Fort Worth, and the DART and Trinity Metro transit systems, respectively. TRE LINK is a shuttle bus that connects the TRE to DFW Airport.

  • Operates every 20 minutes on weekdays during peak periods, every 40 minutes during off-peak hours and on Saturdays.
  • The TRE and TRE LINK do not operate on Sundays.

Coming from DFW Airport

You can board the TRE LINK on the upper level outside Gate D22 in Terminal D.

  • The bus will take you to CentrePort/DFW Airport Station on the TRE.
  • From the rail station, you can either travel west to Hurst and Fort Worth, or east to Irving and Dallas.

Going to DFW Airport

You should ride the TRE to CentrePort/DFW Airport Station, then board the TRE LINK at Bus Bay A.

  • The bus will take you to the upper level of DFW Airport Terminal D outside Gate D22.
  • To connect to Terminals A, B, C and E, ride the airport’s Terminal Link shuttles before going through security or Skylink people mover after going through security.

To Dallas Love Field

To get from DFW Airport to Dallas Love Field, take the Orange Line from DFW Airport Terminal A Station to Inwood/Love Field Station and board DART Bus Route 5 Love Link.
