Overview

Designed by renowned architect David M. Schwarz and HKS, Inc. of Dallas, the American Airlines Center is outfitted with a host of cutting-edge features. Located in the Lone Star State, this state-of-the-art arena has been drawing stellar reviews for sporting and live entertainment events since its opening in 2001. Year after year, the American Airlines Center strives for excellence and continuously ranks among the world's busiest arenas.

DART Rail

The DART Rail System is one of the longest light rail systems in the United States at 93 miles. The system has four lines – Red, Blue, Green, and Orange – with all lines passing through downtown Dallas. DART Rail serves 65 stations in nine cities. DART Rail lines connect the region, providing riders access to jobs, healthcare, education, and entertainment. The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) joins the downtowns of Dallas and Fort Worth, with several stops in between.

1. Purchase a Ticket

An AM/PM Local Pass* is $3.00, and a Local Day Pass is $6.00.
To purchase a ticket, go to any DART Rail Station and buy a pass from a Ticket Vending Machine. Additionally, you can also purchase from the  GoPass® mobile ticketing application.

  1. (* A pass purchased or activated prior to noon is an AM Pass and will be valid for unlimited trips on all bus and rail modes from the start of service until noon. A pass purchased or activated after noon is a PM Pass and will be valid from noon until end of service.)

2. Ride Green and Orange line trains to Victory Station.
Both lines serve Victory Station at regularly scheduled times, seven days a week.

Red and Blue line riders can transfer to a Green or Orange line train at West End Station.
Trains that serve Victory Station from West End Station will have N CARROLLTON, BACHMAN, or DFW on their headway signs.

After an event:
When you're ready to head home, just use your pass to board these trains:

• Northbound Green or Orange lines to Northwest Dallas, Farmers Branch, Carrollton, and Irving (trains with N CARROLLTON destination signs continue to Farmers Branch and Carrollton, trains with DFW destination sign continue to Irving and DFW Airport.)

• Southbound Green or Orange lines to Downtown Dallas (trains with BUCKNER or FAIR PARK destination signs continue to Deep Ellum, Fair Park, and Southeast Dallas, trains with PARKER ROAD destination signs continue to Plano, trains with LBJ/CENTRAL destination signs continue to North Dallas.)


Transfer at West End Station to:

• Red Line (PARKER ROAD) to North Dallas, Richardson, Plano
• Blue Line (ROWLETT) to Lake Highlands, Garland, Rowlett
• Red Line (WESTMORELAND) to West Oak Cliff
• Blue Line (UNT) to South Oak Cliff

NOTE:
Some events will continue to have one post-event Red Line train and one post-event Blue Line train from Victory Station. These trains depart approximately 15 minutes after the event ends.

For events not served by Red Line and Blue Line post-event trains, take a Green Line or an Orange Line train to West End Station to transfer to the Red Line or Blue Line. Check the listing of upcoming events to see post-event service available.

The final Green Line train to North Carrollton/Frankford Station leaves Victory Station at 12:29 a.m. on weeknights and 12:29 a.m. on weekends. The final Green Line train to Buckner Station leaves Victory Station at 12:04 a.m. on weeknights and 12:24 a.m. on weekends.

The final Orange Line train to DFW Airport Station leaves Victory Station at 12:14 a.m. on weeknights and 11:44 p.m. on weekends. The final Orange Line train to LBJ/Central Station leaves Victory Station at 12:20 a.m. on weeknights. The final Orange Line train to LBJ/Central Station leaves Victory Station at 10:20 p.m. on weekends.

Trinity Railway Express (TRE)

Departing Victory Station on the TRE:

  1. Note : There is no TRE service on Sundays.
  1. Be sure to follow all posted directions to Platform 3, where your westbound TRE train will be boarding.
  2. Use only the crosswalks at the extreme north and south ends of the platform area to reach your train.
  3. Under no circumstances attempt to walk around or through other trains at the station, as this could delay your departure and poses a serious safety concern.
Weekday and Saturday events are served by all regularly scheduled eastbound and westbound train trips.
