DART Safely Program Update

Safety Camp Set for Saturday, November 11

The next DART Safety Camp, part of DART's on-going transit safety program, is scheduled for Saturday, November 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at DART's Mockingbird Station (Mockingbird Lane, east of North Central Expressway).

The free event is guaranteed to be fun and worth a Saturday outing. During the Safety Camp, DART representatives will give transit safety presentations and pass out special safety posters and trading cards. The posters and cards feature local sports celebrities like Dallas Stars Mike Modano and Eddie Belfour, Dallas Sidekick Tatu, Dallas Cowboy Darren Woodson, Dallas Maverick Michael Finley, Texas Ranger Rafael Palmeiro, and Olympic champions Michael Johnson and Carla Overbeck.

There also will be games and face painting for children along with a DART bus and Dallas fire truck and representatives from The Science Place and Fort Worth-Dallas Ballet.
