Proposed DART bus changes presented in community meetings Bus customers are invited to help DART give them a better ride.
Starting Monday, March 1 in Irving, DART will hold seven community meetings prior to a March 9 public hearing to gather input on proposed bus service modifications. The recommended service adjustments will support the opening of the new Malcolm X/Southland Transfer location, provide improved access to destinations and improve bus service efficiency. The DART Board of Directors is scheduled to vote on the proposed changes on March 23. Modifications approved by the board will be implemented on Monday, May 17.
The routes under review are: 2, 35, 44, 50, 306, 358, 408, 409, 428, 515, 549, 562, 573 and all 200-series express bus routes.
