Media Relations Contact: August 13, 2018 New DART Fare Structure Gives Riders Cost Saving Options, Effective Saturday, August 18, 2018 and Service Modifications Planned for Monday, August 27, 2018 DART's new fare structure provides riders with fare products and options to fit their travel needs across the DART service area. The new fare structure starts August 18.
GoLink DART's personalized shuttle service, GoLink, comes to an area with no previous transit service on August 27, with the debut of the all-new Far North Plano zone. Hours of operation will be 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., in an area bounded by State Highway 121, Custer Road, Spring Creek Parkway and Ohio Drive. Trips may be booked by utilizing the new GoLink app or by calling 214-452-1827. Bus Changes Most of the bus service modifications on August 27 are minor route adjustments, designed to improve on-time performance and dependability. On other routes, detours implemented earlier in the year will become permanent. Details are available by calling DART Customer Service at 214.979.1111 or by going online to DART.org for adjustments to routes 11, 76, 81, 82, 161, 205, 206, 278, 500, 510, 535 and 549.
