Franklin appointed as Vice President, Executive Affairs

In that capacity, Franklin will serve in a variety of roles as representative and extension for the President/Executive Director in areas and activities where his presence is needed including the Agency's strategic initiatives. Franklin will also direct the investigation of issues submitted to the Executive Office while serving as the Authority's Ethics Officer. He previously served as DART's Interim Vice President for Procurement where he directed and oversaw the agency's contract award, management, and associated administration processes. He joined DART in 2005 following a number of years with the federal government, ultimately serving as Regional Administrator in Atlanta for the Federal Transit Administration of the U.S. Department of Transportation. Franklin holds graduate degrees in Human Relations, in Management, and in Business Administration from Webster University. -- 30 -- |
