From April 5 through May 27
DART, Council of Governments explore rider travel patterns
To improve DART's route planning and scheduling, the agency will conduct a Transit System Travel Pattern Analysis Study from April 5 through May 27. The study is being conducted in cooperation with the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) to learn more about how customers use DART's growing bus and rail network.
Results will be based on a customer survey, which will be placed on board randomly selected buses and trains. The survey will consist of questions regarding riders' travel patterns, such as the number of trips taken, types of transportation modes used, travel times and fares. Additional demographic questions will also be asked to aid the NCTCOG in its regional planning efforts.
Participants who answer all the questions will have an opportunity to register to win one of five iPods or five $100 cash prizes! -- 30 --
