Media Relations Contact: June 19, 2020 FTA Funds TOD Study of DART's D2 Project Stations The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has awarded Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) $1 million to plan for transit-oriented-development (TOD) at five stations along the planned two-mile Downtown Dallas (D2) Subway. The FTA awarded a total of $22.97 million to 23 organizations around the country to support comprehensive planning projects that improve access to public transportation. The funds are from FTA's Pilot Program for Transit-Oriented Development Planning, which assists communities that are developing new or expanded mass transit systems. -- 30 -- |
