DART, Uber offer new mobility options in Rowlett

Beginning Monday, June 3, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) customers in Rowlett can book an UberPool shared ride in addition to GoLink trips using GoPass®, DART's all-in-one travel tool.

In the Rowlett GoLink zone, customers have a choice of either a GoLink shuttle or an UberPool vehicle for running errands, heading to the office or connecting to DART trains and buses. Don't have a smart phone? Book your trips by calling 214-452-1827.

DART zones with UberPool include Rowlett, Inland Port, Kleberg/Rylie of south Dallas County, Far North Plano, Legacy West in Plano and North Central Plano/Chase Oaks.

GoLink is available to customers at no additional cost with any valid DART fare. With the UberPool shared ride program travel to or from any DART station or transit center within a zone is $1, and travel to or from any destination within a zone is $3. The $1 fee is being waived during the introductory period. Prices are per person, per trip, including children during the hours of 5:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
