Edie Diaz is the Vice President, Government Relations for DART. She brings extensive professional experience in urban community development and planning, marketing and outreach, special populations and diversity, government administration, legislative advocacy, program and project management, procurement and compliance, and building strong collaborations and partnerships across the public and private sector.

Currently, Diaz and the Government Relations staff have responsibilities for all legislative issues at the state, federal, regional and local levels. She also serves as the agency's primary liaison with the Dallas City Council and the City Manager's staff and Regional Transportation Council.
