Media Relations Contact: May 27, 2009 Dallas student wins DART poster contest Luis Lopez, a freshman from L.G. Pinkston High School in Dallas, has been named the grand-prize winner in Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) 2009 Poster Contest with the theme "The Green Line: Connecting People, Connecting Communities."
A total of 155 entries were received and judged by Scott Winterrowd, Assistant Curator of Education, Meadows Museum at SMU and Lyle Miller, Senior Manager, Creative Services at DART. Each first place winner in the kindergarten through fifth grade categories will receive a Radio Disney presentation for their class. Each first place winner in middle and high school levels will have their artwork featured at DART rail stations.
