DART Approves Street Repair Agreement with Farmers Branch

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) board members Tuesday approved an interlocal agreement with Farmers Branch for a street improvement project in the city.

The work will be focused on engineering and survey work supportive of improved connections to the Farmers Branch Station, including pedestrian, bike and other pathways, up to $107,431.

The improvements are part of an agency approved Street Repair Policy established November 22, 1994 to permit DART to cooperate with service area cities to accomplish needed repairs.

City of Farmers Branch staff identified the project and will take the lead in procuring, constructing, supervising, inspecting and making any future changes to the plans necessary to complete it.
