Located on Denley Drive north of Illinois Avenue, the Illinois Station is served by the South Oak Cliff segment of the DART Rail Blue line, with connections to bus routes 426, 444, 445, 515 and 538. Facilities include a "kiss & ride" drop-off and pickup area, a bicycle rack and free commuter parking.

The DART Rail system features 65 stations, located in downtown Dallas, South Dallas, South Oak Cliff, West Oak Cliff, the North Central Expressway Corridor to North Dallas, Richardson and Plano, the Northeast Corridor to Garland and Rowlett, the Northwest Corridor to Farmers Branch and Carrollton, the Southeast Corridor to Pleasant Grove and the Northwest Corridor to Irving and DFW Airport.
