DART does not own bus stops. So, we do not shovel the snow. The city (or town) where you live is responsible for the upkeep
Head to our contact DART customer service page to email or call us.

Yes, but DART operators are unable to assist with luggage. Make sure you can carry or wheel all your luggage by yourself. Bags must not block aisles, as there are no luggage racks on DART trains or buses. On DART trains, the center section of each train car offers platform-level boarding - perfect for roll-on luggage - plus additional floor space. There are no size restrictions or weight limits for luggage brought onto the train.
Visit DART Schedules to view train schedules, find out the location of stations, and purchase tickets.
If you have an urgent health or safety emergency at a railroad crossing, dial 911 first. You can also call DART Police at 214-928-6300 for emergencies. If you are currently at the crossing and need to contact the railroad, check the small blue sign posted there. This sign will have their phone number and the local station address with the corresponding cross-section showing on it in case you do not have this information memorized. Dial that number and provide them with your street name and city if needed.
In an emergency, it is always important to listen to and calmly follow the instructions provided by DART employees. However, the information below is also useful when dealing with an emergency:
On a DART bus, emergency exit procedures are listed on windows, ceiling escape hatches, and doors. Fire extinguishers are inside the front door, under the passenger-side seat, or beneath/behind the driver's seat.
Use the emergency intercom at either end to contact the train operator on a DART rail or TRE. Emergency instructions are posted inside each rail car next to the center doors. Fire extinguishers are in the operator's cab and are also often available under the last row of seats at the end of the car.
In a DART station, use the emergency intercoms to contact DART personnel. Call 911 on any pay phone. Familiarize yourself with all exits at the stations you frequently use if you ever must take a different exit. The best way to stay up to date on service alerts and other DART-related news and information is to register for My DART Updates.
