DART – Let's Go.

Transit Education

DART is now a Safe Place for people 18 and younger to get help. Safe Place extends the reach of local youth services, shelters and organizations to support children in crisis situations, creating networks of community access points where young people can seek assistance. This new partnership represents an important step forward in protecting DFW's youth.
Learn more about the Safe Place Program
This innovative and dynamic community outreach program helps people of all ages understand how public transit works and teaches them that safely is the way to go! It's about more than public transit, though. It's about the public good. Through on-site presentations, tours, a free transportation and community curriculum, and participation in regional community events, DART's Transit Education Program is making a difference. It is ideal for schools, non-profit organizations, recreation centers, faith based institutions, libraries, municipalities, senior citizen, and civic groups!

The Transit Education staff conduct presentations for group of 20 or more, and general topics include observing safety, riding DART, planning a trip, environmental benefits ,and careers in transportation. The presentation is specially tailored for your need. For more information, call the Transit Education Main number at 214-749-3494 or complete the on-line "Schedule a Program" form.
