Downtown Dallas Trolley-Bus Routes Being Combined
DART is changing its downtown Dallas Trolley-Bus service with a new north-south route that is easier than ever to use.
Trolley-Bus loops A, B and C on Route 706 will be discontinued on Monday, May 22 and replaced with a single route. Route 706 will now operate every 10 minutes during rush hours and every 15 minutes during midday. It will run north and south between Convention Center Station and the Crescent Court on Pearl via St. Paul, Ervay and Young streets. The new route connects to the DART light rail system at St. Paul Station and Convention Center Station.
The 50-cent fare takes passengers to a number of popular destinations on the new Trolley-Bus route including the Arts District, St. Paul Rail Station, Neiman Marcus, the Dallas Public Library, Pioneer Park and the Dallas Convention Center. The Trolley-Bus operates Monday through Friday between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
To mark the change, DART is holding these special customer-appreciation events:
Friday, May 12 Dallas Museum of Art, 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
Friday, May 19 First Baptist Church (Ervay at Patterson), 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Friday, May 19 St. Paul Station, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
