DART seeks input to develop next generation of regional transit
North Texans can help plan their transit future by participating in a series of public meetings sponsored by DART to gather input for the development of its 2030 Transit System Plan.
The community feedback will help the agency update its Transit System Plan, which was adopted in 1995 and extends to the year 2010. The new plan provides a roadmap for implementing transit service throughout DART's service area through 2030.
The meetings will focus on future transportation problems and present a range of transit opportunities to address needs over the next 26 years. Additionally, DART staff will provide an overview of the process of developing the plan.
