Ride DART to Hispanic Heritage Festivities

DART offers a smooth trip to Mundo Latino celebrations in October.

The Mundo Latino celebration at the 2003 State Fair of Texas features Walls that Speak, an exhibit of murals by well-known Texas Latino artists at The Women's Museum in Fair Park.

Other Mundo Latino festivities include music, dancing, a "Little Mexico" exhibit, crafts and a Latin cooking show. The Women's Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily during the fair and is free to fairgoers. For information about Mundo Latino visit bigtex.com.

Fairgoers also can take bus Routes 11 and 37 from the West Transfer Center in downtown Dallas, bus Route 60 from Union Station, or bus Route 409 from Cityplace Station, both weekdays and weekends.

For information about DART services, fares, schedules, trip planning and maps, contact DART Customer Information at 214-979-1111 or visit DART.org.
