DART seeks community input
DART Finalizing Light Rail Extension to Plano
DART is holding an open house July 11 to preview light rail service to Plano and gather input on proposed bus service changes scheduled for December 2002.
The open house will focus on the new rail stations to Plano and the bus service affected by expansion of the DART light rail system. The Red Line extends to the Bush Turnpike Station in North Richardson, the Downtown Plano Station and the Parker Road Station on December 9, 2002.
Proposed bus service changes
DART is planning six new routes, 564, 566, 570, 572, 575, 761, and is proposing changes to routes 316, 350, 358, 360, 366, 410, 451 and 760. The proposed new and modified feeder bus services are intended to provide improved connections from the new rail stations to residential areas and between rail stations and employment or commercial locations.
