DART Chief Financial Officer Joins NextJet
Chris Poinsatte, DART's Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, is leaving the transit agency to join NextJet, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer.
Poinsatte has overseen all financial activities of DART since being named Chief Financial Officer in 1992. He joined DART as Director of the Office of Management and Budget in 1987. The DART CFO's responsibilities include budgeting, financial planning, strategic planning, re-engineering, total quality management, investments, federal funding, debt financing, efficiency reviews, accounts payable, and general accounting.
"Chris has been an integral part of our executive team and his leadership in strategic planning, management and finance that has made DART a premier public agency," DART President/Executive Director Roger Snoble said. "Chris was the architect of our successful bond program and has raised the bar in the transit industry for financial reporting standards."
Poinsatte is a graduate of Leadership Dallas, is Immediate Past Chair of the Financial Management Committee of the American Public Transportation Association and founded the Transit Finance Learning Exchange.
NextJet was founded in 1999, and uses a proprietary digital transit management system to provide same-day, door-to-door package shipping. -- 30 --
