Four Routes Detoured with Convention Center Station Closure
DART closed Convention Center Station to pedestrian and bus traffic in January 2026. The closure is a result of the multi-year reconstruction of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
Trains continue to pass through the station, but riders are not allowed to board or deboard. The station will reopen once the convention center construction is complete.
GoLink Connector
To assist customers who have used Convention Center Station, DART is providing a supplemental GoLink service that connects riders to nearby destinations.
DART riders can request a GoLink trip from EBJ Union Station, Cedars Station, and the Marilla @ Akard bus stop (Stop ID 20685), or from the businesses, hotels, apartments, and lofts located in between these three points. The GoLink Connector zone is roughly bounded by Young Street, S. Lamar Street/Botham Jean Boulevard, Belleview Street, and S. Akard Street.
You can book a GoLink trip with the free GoPass® app or by calling 214-515-7272.
